Old Business

  • Style Guide

    • Agency is working on and will release iteratively (so people can at least get started on things before the full guide is complete)

    • Writing Style Guide - This is available on the ACCESS Program Shared Drive and will be updated as we have items needing inclusion or revision.

New Business

  • Subgroup updates

    • Header & Footer - Nathan, Andrew, Greg, Ron/Dina, JP/Dinuka

      • Low hanging fruit was the focus

        • identified things in header/font/spacings/footer and deciding which track had the best look

        • will try to get this done in the next week or so

        • waiting for style guide and then will take next steps

        • Let’s leave copyright line off because we use some creative commons contents

    • Resource Provider Page - JP, Julie, Greg, Nathan, ACO - Ron/Q

      • Tom Maiden has joined us (Operations and also part of PSC as a resource provider)

      • Goal is to make resource providers more prominent on our pages

      • Will appear in the top nav

      • What should be on the page?

        • Discussed various ways visitors might be able to filter the info to see just what they want

          • Julie suggested tags that we could tag each resource with so that people looking for “storage” for example, could filter for that and get a curated list

            • We could use descriptions with the tag

          • Or come up with categories (i.e. GPUs) so people could figure out what they need and the various systems could fall within these categories (in more of a static manner)

            • these could be associated with tags

          • We provide the “search” terms that align with our tags

          • Targets: Researchers and educators (new and existing), resource providers, funding agencies, leadership

        • Content

          • intro (include shortcuts for folks who know what they need)

          • categories/sections/boxes - describes what different resources do

          • what are you trying to do? links off to take users to the area they need

          • Need to mockup what this would look like

            • Possibly use Figma

            • JP and Andrew are willing to explore

          • Need to collaborate on getting language and descriptions

          • We’ll meet next week to touch base

    • Universal navigation, dropdown menu for “About”, includes file distribution to all
      subdomains via GitHub

      • Determine if there should be dropdowns
